My son and I rescued Spud from the shelter 3 years ago and cured him of heartworms. This guy was severely underweight and constantly lethargic. Now he is 50 pounds and as energetic as can be.. Spud is an insanely friendly dog to every single human he meets adult or child. He loves attention and loves to cuddle. Unfortunately, Spud has some residual dog anxieties from the shelter. Some dogs he gets along with and some dogs he gets very aggressive with. There is no rhyme or reason. No trend I can follow. I am a nurse and single parent and my son is left to care for him in our new community where, sadly, many dogs are left out to roam off leash. I am very nervous that a fight could break out and my son could be injured. This pup will thrive best in a place with lots of space for zoomies and no dogs strangers to contend with. ALL humans fall in love with Spud and he loves them back.
