Here's what the humans have to say about me:
A sweet dog looking for a new home. Unfortunately her current owner, my mom, is approaching the point where she can not take care of her. Additionally, the community in which my mom lives has said it is time for Lexi to find a new home as well. Lexi can be excitable at first because she craves the attention of people. But after a few minutes she settles down and loves to snuggle up with you.
Mom acquired Lexi from a Border Collie Breeder in Florida. She is 9 years old and does suffer from keratitis, but that has not affected her in any way. When mom leaves the house, Lexi is more than happy to curl up in her kennel. Lexi seems to get along with dogs and cats that she has interacted with. A home with a medium to small yard would be amazing, but any loving home would make her happy.
Any questions, please feel free to contact me. We really hope to find her a good home.
