My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Amelia is a 9-10 month old Hound/Lab mix. She came to us a very scared girl, especially with people. Currently Amelia is being fostered by a wonderful family who wanted to help this girl in need. She has made huge progress in their home and though still shy around strangers she does seek attention and pets from her foster parents. We would love to be able to find a home where Amelia can go so she does not have to be returned to the shelter. Her foster family does have a dog at home (adopted from SAVE actually!) and 2 cats who all get along. We all agree that Amelia would do best in a home with another dog, hopefully an outgoing, social dog that will be able to help continue to build her confidence.
