Name: Birdie

Breed: Toy Fox Terrier x Rat Terrier x Chihuahua x Dachshund

Weight: 6 lbs

Age: 1 year

Personality: Birdie is an angel. That's a lot to live up to, right? But she really is such a sweet, well-behaved girl. Quiet, excellent manners, listens well...Birdie is a low maintenance, "easy" dog. Give her a fluffy bed and she will happily lounge most of the day. She also has moments where her playfulness comes out and it is SO CUTE! She has a young spirit and is always happy. Birdie is shy with new people, so she will need a guardian who is patient and who matches with her calm energy. And most of all, Birdie is as sweet and loving as can be. Her heart is BIG and we love her so much.

Coat: Short, little shedding

Training: Socialization and house manners, knows: sit, walks well on leash

Potty trained: Yes, we love that she potty's in one spot of the yard!

Health: Healthy

History: Rescued from Riverside shelter, stray

Fostered in: Cypress, CA

Type of home: A home with another dog, prefers women and takes longer to warm up to men, if you prefer an independent dog

Crate trained: Yes

Dog-friendly: Yes, her best friend is a 55 pound Heeler mix!
Cat-friendly: Yes
Kid-friendly: Friendly but scared of their fast movements and will keep away, a home with older calm children is ok
