Breed: Mix of all flavors / Adoption fee is $125 / Sex: Female / Age: Approximately 1 year old / Weight: Approximately 40 pounds
Junie was picked up by a good samaritan after showing up on someone's property out in the country side who did not want her. She was covered head to tail in ticks. But since being rescued, she has been given the correct medication and a nice fluffy bed to heal. She is an absolute cuddle bug and loves to be pet. She has enjoyed her role here at the rescue of lobby dog but is looking for something more permanent.
House Manners: Junie is a quiet little lady who is respectful of boundaries and is a sweet little gal. When in her foster home, they reported she held it all night. She also uses her doggie door here at the rescue.
Basic Training: She is housebroken and walks very well on a leash. She will be timid getting in your car but once she gets the hang of it, she will be fine. She doesn't seem to bark very much and is an absolute love bug.
Other Dogs: Junie would do better with males her size or bigger. She seems to have it out for little dogs and should not be in a home with little dogs.
Cats: Unknown, will evaluate soon

Fencing: Junie is in a 6ft kennel run and has made no attempt to escape.
The adoption fee is $125.This dog has had its age appropriate Vaccinations brought up to date with Rabies shot (4 m & older), heartworm tested (4 m & older) and/or started on prevention, basic dewormer, spayed or neutered and microchipped by 24Petwatch with free registration , and also comes with 30 days of free 24Petwatch Pet Insurance .
Important PLEASE read if interested in adoption:
We have a pretty open adoption policy, apartments, unfenced yards, and young kids are okay, but only if the pet you are interested in is a good fit for that situation!!! Some dogs may require a fence of a certain type and height, due to safety, the breed or known history. We are looking for pet parents that provide vet care such as routine vaccines for their pets and heartworm prevention for dogs. Please understand we do cross check vet references and landowners/landlord policies and cannot process applications with incomplete or incorrect information.
We asked that you take your newly adopted dog for a vet exam in the first 30 days to establish with your vet and obtain their heartworm prevention prescriptions and have a fecal exam administered as some pets may need additional de-womers after leaving our care.
