Why I need a new home

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lizzie is incredibly lovable, all she wants to do is snuggle up on the couch and be touching you at all time. She is approximately 10 years old and we have had her in our family for close to 7 of those 10. We are heart broken to have to re-home her due to our having to relocate. She is spayed and will be current on all shots before adoption is finalized. Lizzie is great with kids (toddlers/infants included) but sometimes forgets how big she is, but has never been aggressive. She is wonderful with cats, small dogs and lower energy large dogs. She has no bite history, no toy aggression, or no food aggression history. Sometimes she is a little skiddish with loud yelling unless someone is sitting next to her consoling her as she was a rescue from an abuse case in New York. She currently has a brother of the feline persuasion (Marshall aka "Fat Cat") also being re-homed, ideally we'd like them to stay together but due to our situation we understand if they are separated.
