My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi - I'm JAX! I'm very sweet and hope to find a loving *forever* home to call my own soon. I am neutered, vetted and will do best in a very calm home that will be patient with me. I love being petted and talked to and loved on. I love playing with my cat toys, too and I also love lounging by sunny windows and gazing outside. I am very sweet and calm and gentle. I am approx. 6 years young.

I am fostered together with my best buddy (we were rescued together), Judy (we may be siblings!). Our life started out very tough -- we were rescued from a severe neglect and abusive home situation. It took me some time to emotionally recover from this trauma. But now I know when I am in a calm, loving, stable home that I can trust my humans to be kind and gentle with me - and that I will always have food and water and love. I am so grateful to have been rescued and am really looking forward to finding my forever home! I am very sweet and have so much love to share!

I do prefer to be adopted together with my best friend Judy -- as I feel much more at ease with her by my side. We enjoy playing together and being around each other, too. I also love to sit on laps (once I have time to warm up to you and know that I can trust you).

The most important thing to know when adopting me is that I will need time and patience to warm up to my forever home due to my difficult past. But once I have that time, you'll see how *incredibly* sweet I am and how much love I have to share with my forever person. I am just so grateful to have been rescued and I'm so excited to find a loving forever home to call my own - along with Judy! I hope to meet you soon!

***NOTE: JAX IS FOSTERED WITH JUDY (they were rescued together!). They are a bonded pair and prefer to be adopted together! Read more about Judy and view her pics by visiting our site, here: https://www.advocates4animals.com/adoptable-pets-1
