Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Scruffy is an approx. 2 y.o. terrier with a high prey drive (rodents).
He gets a daily AM forest walk (45 mins. OFF leash) & a leashed neighborhood walk in the PM. He runs around our fenced-in yard & sun bathes & plays chase/tug during the day. This is the MINIMUM amount of activity/stimulation he needs.
He's affectionate & loves to snuggle on our beds at night. He does NOT like being crated.
Scruffy escapes our yard daily to chase chipmunks. He does not have good recall & won't respond to his name when outside the fence, so we'd like to re-home him with someone who has land for him to roam, outside of town where he will get into trouble.
YOU:
-must be experienced dog trainer/owner, with vet references and the time/will/energy to train Scruffy
-must have land for Scruffy to roam (not just a small yard or enclosure)
-must be physically active to keep up with him
-must treat him as family
We realize this is a lot to ask, but are willing to wait for the right adopter.
