My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ruby is a sweet girl that came to us as an abandoned dog. When we first got her she was nervous and startled, fearful of strangers and protective of herself. For the past year she has learned so much and grown immensely. Her trust in people that care for her has blossomed and so has her evident love for children. Ruby had grown up with children and has lived with a child in her foster home and she adored the little girl. This lady is a great listener too, she is quiet in the home and relaxed. She is wonderful off leash in the yard and loves to play fetch. She does have a love for chewing up toys that are hers and occasionally getting into bags from the trash!! Oops, but aside from that she has a healthy appetite for food and life and would make a wonderful companion for any one that spends time alone or at home. She is great on walks as well and loves to snuggle. Ruby also is polite with dogs but would rather be the only resident dog and she does well with cats.
