NOLA is a sweet girl!! She is more than happy to just lay in the couch and cuddle, or have a good talk. She's older for her breed (7 years) but still has plenty of personality. She tore her ACL when she was 3. The vet recommended not performing surgery because of her intermediate size, but she does struggle at times in her back end. She's somewhat lame, but can go on casual walks. No running. She is a great gaurd dog, as the breed is known for. We unfortunately have twin toddlers and her desire to protect the home has become detrimental to babies learning to walk. I would suggest that a prospective adopter not have small children. She is super sweet, but too much for our family now that we have 3 small children. NOLA gets along amazingly with out cat, and has never shown any food aggression. If we only had to deal with the current constraints we could probably keep her. She needs her shots. Covid prevented for safety concerns of young children.
