My story

Monk is the sweetest boy once he warms up to you. He really enjoys having furry friends, and it's a must that his forever home has a playful fur sibling for him. Monk is potty trained, and also doing very well at learning how to like the crate. He loves toys, and also is thoroughly enjoying learning how to trust humans, and that their love and belly rubs that come with. He would do very well in a home with a very playful and confident dog, cats, or even with children. Leash training will take some time, and he is still learning to adjust to the good life.

Why adoption is a great option

Monk, a Dallas American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Dallas, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
