Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Nibbler (Nibby) is an energetic young boy who plays hard and sleeps hard. Nibbler is a little guy (about 20 lbs) with a goofy personality and he loves to roll around and crawl under and behind things. He has that beagle bark and isn't afraid to use it! He will run himself ragged and then crawl under the covers to sleep with you. He has a lot of energy and is very athletic; he would love an active home and would make a great companion for a runner.
Nibbler is still learning manners, so needs help learning not to jump up on people/counters and pull on leashes. He is crated when home alone, because he still enjoys chewing on things, but he has been rock solid on housebreaking the whole time he's been in his foster home and never had accidents. Despite all his energy, he loves sitting on the couch and sleeping in bed, and loves being warm under the covers. He can't resist a space heater. He flops down in front of them and warms his belly! His new family will need to be vigilant about watching the door, he dashes for the exit whenever he can, and he is also one to test the strength of a fence by climbing/jumping, so his future family should either have a tall fence or supervise him when outside.
Nibbler would be happy in a home with other dogs or as an only dog in a home with minimal alone time, but would be sad to be crated alone most of the day. He would love a family with kids (but would need to be taught manners) and has not been tested with cats. He would probably be fine with an assertive cat that would put him in his place, but he would likely torment a submissive cat.
Nibby is a charmer who will keep you on your toes!
