My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:


My parents purchased this cat as a kitten, but decided they no longer wanted her after six years. They intended to take her to a kill shelter.

My husband and I took her her in because we didn't want such a sweet and beautiful kitty to have such a sad end. Unfortunately, he is terribly allergic to cats!

We have two large dogs - the is finicky and tends to run from them, but has never behaved aggressively with me, my husband, or the dogs. She temporarily lived a friend of ours who had two cats, and while she spent most of her time hiding, she was never aggressive with the other cats.

For the past four years she has spent her time locked in our basement to keep the cat hair in one spot. She deserves a much better, happier life with people who can give her much more love and affection than we have.

She is incredibly friendly, lets me clip her nails and even cut her hair once when she had matted fur when I first got her. She sat on my lap purring the entire time!
