Adopted two kittens from local shelter almost 2 yrs ago. When Willow came to our house she was very shy and skittish after being in a very busy shelter. It took a few weeks for her to relax and became a very loving cat with very loud motor. She really likes to come up for loves when we sit down on the couch and also when we go to bed. 1 year ago we added a German Shepherd to our family. We thought that the cats would get used to having the dog around. Willow will not come out from hiding unless the dog is outside or is asleep in the evening. Our dog now chases Willow whenever she comes out. We feel that this is just not fair to Willow to constantly be in hiding from the dog.
