My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Spirit is a rescue from dog fighting. He was used as a "Bait Dog".
Spirit is doing alot better sinse we posted him earlier this week. Spirit is still very aprehansive of other animals and has a Personal space area when it comes to other dogs. We suggest he is adopted to a home with NO OTHER ANIMALS. We need a family that will be very understanding and gentle with him as he has been through alot with all of his vet care, and because of the neglect he suffered before we recieved him.
HE IS NOT AGGRESSIVE. Spirit was not a fighting dog he was a Bait dog. A bait dog is usually a stray dog, of mixed breed who does not display aggressive tendancies. The person training the fighting dogs will usually starve both animals for about a week then put them into a room and toss in some meat for them to fight over. It is a very sad and disgusting hobby. Spirit was the loosing dog. It took us 2 days to get him to eat and drink on his own and his wounds are finally healing. Please consider giving Spirit a home he is a wounderful animal who looks for love from humans. Spirits adoption fee is $50.00
