My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucille, Lucille!  Found roaming with her siblings in the middle of nowhere, we presume they were dumped.  It was also clear she hadn’t learned all the good things in life - like being loved, walking on leash, meeting and playing with new dogs.   It’s quite possible she was trained to hunt and dumped when she didn’t do her job well.   Nothing could make us more sad, because this girl has SO much love to give - be sure to check out her videos!! 

She was so nervous around other dogs when she first came to us and it seemed she was afraid she would be attacked so she was always on guard.  After several weeks is working with her and other dogs,  she is finally trying to start initiating play with her dog friends.   She would be happiest with another chill dog who isn’t going to be obnoxiously in her face, because that still makes her nervous. But we couldn’t be more proud of her progress.  Of course she would be content to be an only dog, but with the right dog(s) she would be just fine too! 

This lovely girl keeps her kennel clean and does her potty business on her leash walks thought we can’t say 100% that would translate to house-broken perfection, we believe she would make the transition very well.   

Lucille deserves her happily forever after!!  She is spayed, microchipped and current on all vaccines.
