Are you looking for a sweet, adult dog who is easy to love and live with? Stella has been patiently waiting for her forever family for almost three years, which is a long time in dog years! In early 2020 Stella was returned to our rescue (through no fault of her own) when her family could no longer care for her. She has been doing great in her Binghamton, NY area foster home, but she is ready to find her forever home.
Her foster mom says: "Stella is a bit shy and can take a while to warm up to new people. However, she is super smart, and sweet, and extremely loyal to her people once she knows them. She knows all of her basic commands, is crate trained, and loves walks and being outside, her favorite thing is to lay on the deck and watch the deer on the lawn as they walk by."
Stella is in a home with other dogs, but we think Stella would thrive where she can be someone's only canine. However, Stella has proved to be good with her foster's cats. Stella is an easy-going homebody who would be happy just going for walks, hanging out with her people on the couch. Stella needs her own special person in order to be her best self. Please consider giving this sweet girl a second chance.
All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated if necessary. Vet references are required and prior to adoption a home inspection will be conducted. Transport options available. Adoption fee applies.
