My story

Darrow was found as a stray semi-feral kitty and brought to the refuge where he would be safe and taken care of. He is in our shy room with some like-minded kitties and we are hoping over time he will learn to trust the staff and volunteers.

More about this rescue

Siglinda Scarpa is a potter and a sculpter who owns 3 acres of fenced-in property in which she houses up to 258 homeless cats. The Refuge is a sanctuary for these cats, who never have to leave, but if they are adoptable, the cats are posted on our website and taken to adoption events in the community. The more cats that we find homes for, the more cats we can rescue.
