My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Little commando, Baxter, is ready to tackle most anything, especially an available earlobe.  He's the big brother to two little brothers and likes to show them who is boss.   He's also the bravest of the brothers and the other 2 often follow his lead (which usually leads to trouble).  It's a little too early to know how big he'll get, but it's a sure bet that he's going to have a BIG personality!

PUPPIES!!!! They do not get cuter than this! Born to mommy, Betsey (also available for adoption), these pups are extra cute! Please remember, they ARE puppies and need lots of positive guidance and patience. They chew, pee, poop, chew some more and poop some more! They challenge you at every turn. Puppies bring lots of love and smiles, but also some frustration. Please be prepared to have your life turned up-side-down!!!

Our process for adopting puppies is a little different from adopting an adult dog:
1. Your application and home visit must be complete before final approval for adopting a puppy (including meeting the puppies). At the home visit we will check to see if your fence is secure, and help you identify anything that may entice puppy curiosity/chewing, etc...
2. Every animal that is adopted from us is spayed/neutered before adoption. Since these puppies will be altered AFTER they are 12 weeks old, we allow our approved families to enter into a 'foster to adopt' contract for their puppy. This allows us to place the puppy in your home at 9-10 weeks old so you can begin the important bonding process, however we maintain ownership and financial responsibility until they are spayed/neutered (usually 12 weeks, but up to the discretion of our veterinarian). This will require you to bring your puppy to our veterinarian in North Dallas for the spay/neuter surgery (or any other medical need).
3. Your contract will include a special provision that you will agree to take your puppy to Puppy Obedience Training within 30 days of adoption.

IF YOU CAN NOT COMMIT TO THIS PROCESS, please do not apply for one of the puppies. There are NO exceptions. We do this to ENSURE that the puppies STAY in their forever homes.
