DUCKY HAS AN ADOPTION PENDING !

UPDATE 7-20-08 Ducky has totally recovered from her surgery and is ready to find her forever home. This spunky little girl is a great combination of playful and lovable.... she loves to play fetch with her toys, and then likes to cuddle when it is time to relax.

Little Ducky is one of the sweetest dogs you could ever meet. Amazing, considering what appears to be a really sad beginning for a tiny sweet young girl. Ducky came to us via a high kill shelter looking to save her precious life... horribly matted, dirty and covered in burs.. with radial nerve paralysis in her left front leg. The vet was sure the damage was caused by a brutal kick.... how can any of this happen to such a dear sweet little girl. We don't know, but she is SAFE now. She had her surgery today (7/2/08) to remove her leg, and is doing exceptionally well in getting around already, feeling spunky and as dogs always do, rebounding and loving life.
