My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Penny is a young cat, born Jan 2019. She's a little shy, too. She came to us from a hoarding situation in Wausau. She does like to be petted if she is in a cubby hole. She is head shy, in that she will wince and draw back if you try to pet her head. Noises startle her. No one knows what her story was up until she came to us in February. She likes to become more social in the evening when it's quiet in the shelter, and everything is winding down. She loves her Temptations treats! She is terrified of the other cats in the shelter except her 2 roommates, Jasmine and Daphne. Penny will need a quiet home with no dogs or young children.

Penny is spayed, up to date on vaccines, Feline Leukemia negative, dewormed, on flea preventative and microchipped.

More about this rescue

Little Orphan's members are dedicated to the well-being of all animals we encounter. Dismayed by the numbers of cats and dogs housed in shelters and euthanized each and every year, we have an active spay/neuter assistance program and ensure as best we can that each animal adopted through our program has truly found a "forever" home.
