This is Oliver, the Love of my life and my 61-lb lap dog. I believe he is part Great Dane (long legs, big feet, and sweet temperament) and beagle (head and face and goofiness). We’ve been together 3-1/2 years since I rescued this poor orphaned puppy from the Atlanta Humane Society. He has separation anxiety and so do I. He loves people...doesn’t care much about other dogs. I can hardly stand to leave him but I’m moving across the country to care for my elderly dad, who is too unstable to have a big dog around.
Oliver loves walks (when it’s cool outside) and loves car rides. He is mostly an inside dog and gets overheated easily. He’s past that puppy stage where he chews everything but he does love a good squeaky toy. He’ll have it apart in no time! I’ve been teaching him to catch a frisbee and he loves to play ball. He’s great at catching things.
He has a large crate but hates it, several “tuffets,” Kong toys, a harness, collar, and leash.
