Meet Riley, a precious 7 pound, 4 year old Yorkie boy being fostered in Azle, TX. ONLY TEXAS APPLICANTS WILL BE CONSIDERED. NO OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS AT THIS TIME. Estimated to be 4 years, found on the streets of Houston, Texas!! A Good Samaritan picked him up covered in fleas, very little hair on his body, and swollen foot pads. He was not chipped and even though a search was made for an owner, no one was found. The Good Samaritan took him to vet for limited care, and reached out to UYR and we took it from there. He has a skin infection but all of his hair should come back in fine! He is HW negative, thank goodness! Foster mom gives him medicated baths and makes sure he takes his medicine! For all this baby has been through, he is happy and loving! He loves foster mom’s other dogs and will sit in your lap and snuggle with you for as long as you will let him. His little tail just wags all the time! He is a happy boy! It will be a couple of weeks before he is immunized because of his skin infection but he is in great shape! He is just full of personality! Foster mom is working with Riley on his manners and potty training. He still needs some work because living on the streets did not teach him these things! If you think you can give this little guy a great forever home, please fill out an application and submit to United Yorkie Rescue. His vet bills are coming in and since this little guy has lived on the streets, any monetary donation for his care and vetting would be very appreciated! Please email foster mom with any questions!
