My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! My name is Jemison and I’m named after a really awesome scientist! Maybe because of that, I take my time to size up situations before investigating new things or committing to joining in the fun. I am curious and playful and love a good scratch under the chin, but you have to work for my purrs – I guarantee they are worth it. My mama probably has some Russian Blue ancestry so my face and eyes are delicious (according to my foster mom). I have been raised with cats and dogs and I like them both – even if dogs can be confusing sometimes. I would do best if I were adopted with my brother Pockel. He is my best buddy and he helps me be my bravest self. Priority will be given to a family who has a place for the two of us or for me and my brother Noddack. If I am adopted out solo I would need to go into a home with a confident and inclusive young cat with lots of playful energy.

💜My adoption fee is $100, which covers my neuter, microchip, vaccinations, flea treatment, and deworming. We strive to ensure each of our babies are healthy, happy, and well-loved. Remember, every feline that is adopted through Kindle and Clowder will help save another purring soul!
