Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bindi (Australian Aboriginal for “Little Girl”) turned 5 years old at the end of Jan. 2020. She came to us from Highland Co. Rescue after being surrendered from a working cattle farm where she was a faithful and diligent employee. Sadly, after the farm went under, we tried to make her a house pet & this was not as successful as we’d hoped it would be.
The ideal home would include:
· A loving home to sleep in at night, no outdoor dog kennels/pens/dog houses
· A large, safe outdoor space for her to enjoy/forage/explore/work
· Cattle/sheep/goats to herd, some sort of job for her
· Exercise, lots & lots of opportunity for exercise
She is great with our kids (6 & 9), but should probably not be in a home with small children. From what I can tell, she suffers from territorial fear-aggression. She hates when anyone comes to/inside the house, leaves, drives by etc.
She is a GOOD DOG. She just needs to live in conditions that we aren’t able to provide.
