I am about 4 year(s), 6 month(s) old.
Hi, My Name Is "Thumper." My Foster Mom And Dad Call Me Thumper Because Every Time They Pet Or Brush Me On The Back Or Side My Leg Starts Thumping Away.
The First Few Years Of My Life I Had A Owner That Thought Being Chained Up In A Yard And Feeding And Watering Me When He Felt Like It Was All I Needed. I Sure Didn't Like That Chain And Wore Some Of My Teeth Down A Bit, But Still Have Some Good Incisors. I Have What My Dad Calls A Square Head, Don't Know Yet If That's A Compliment Or Not. My Tail Has Been Docked, And If I Do Say So Myself, I Have A Great Stance.
I Try To Talk, Which Mom Thinks Is Funny. When I Wake Up In The Morning I Come Out Of My Crate With A Big Yawn.
I Really Like To Run & Chase The Ball But I'm Not To Good At Bringing It Back Yet. Mom Says I Do That Just So She Will Come And Get It.
When I First Came Here I Didn't Respond To My Name To Well So Mom Cleaned My Ears Really Good And Guess What I Can Hear Now!!!!! As To Commands, Well, We Are Working On "Come, Sit & Stay, And Crate Up," And I'm Getting Better But I Need More Work.
I Like To Be The Alpha Rottie And My Older Sister "Roxie" Will Let Me Push Her Around But My Other Sister "Baron," Will Not.
I Really Like Car Rides And Don't Need To Be Crated, Prefer To Watch What's Going On Around Me.
I'm Really Good At The Vets. The Girls There Just Loved Me, But Who Wouldn't After Meeting Me And Seeing My Beautiful Face. They Just Loved My Fur Coat Because It Is So Soft.
I Didn't Even Grumble Or Growl When They Were Rubbing, Poking And Looking All Over Me. What They Called A Complete Check Up, And Passed All The Test They Could Throw At Me. She Estimated Me Being 4 +Years Old.
I Am Up To Date On My Shots And I'm Hw Neg. I Was Having A Problem With One Of My Eyes Draining But Mom Has Been Putting Cream In It And Now It Is Clear And Bright.
When I First Came Here July 21, I Weighed 72 Pounds. I Now Eat 5 Cups A Day And Weighed In On August The 2nd, 77 1/2 Pounds. Dad Says Now I'm Probably 80 Pounds+.
These Foster Parents I Have Now Seem To Think I Would Make Someone A Good Companion As Long As I Was The Only Four Legged Family Member. That Way I Could Get All The Attention I Need, And Work With Me More.
