My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Max! Can you believe how cute he is? He is 1 ½ years old and is very playful! He loves to fetch. He gets along well with cats as long as they don't run from him otherwise his JRT prey drive kicks in (but it's chase only--no attacking). He will get along with female dogs best. A home with no kiddos will work out best for this boy. He does have a bit of separation anxiety, but we believe with proper exercise and mental stimulation that would help in that department. He came in as a stray and his little pads were worn so it is unknown how long he was running the streets. Is it any wonder he’s a little anxious? Max is neutered, heartworm negative, has no intestinal worms, is fully vaccinated and is microchipped. He’s ready to go! Do you like jogging and biking? Max does too! Do you like going for rides in the car? Max does too! Do you like gardening? Max does, too!! Do you like relaxing and snuggling on the couch? Max LOVES that. He’s a multi talented dog! A home visit and a good vet reference are mandatory to adopt him. If you are interested in adopting Max, please fill out the online adoption application at www.russellrescue.com.
