Scooter was rescued from a dumpster when he was a kitten. He was taken to a vet and medically cleared. He has grown up and lived with his "brother" Wiley for about 10 years who is also up for adoption. He has been kept as a strictly indoor cat and uses a litter box. He is neutered and still have his claws.
Scooter is skittish and cautious most the time. I chalked it up to him living the first year of his life in a dumpster. It takes a while for him to learn to trust someone. Once he finally learns to be to trust I have seen him lay down next to people but it has taken some time.
