Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is Kitsune! He is a mix between a corgi and a Shetland Sheepdog and weighs 21lbs. We rescued him two years ago and decided to keep his Japanese name (meaning "Little Fox"), considering that he was 8 y/o at that time.
In the two years that Kitsune has been a part of our family he has displayed much nervousness, to the point that our vet has prescribed him daily anxiety meds. His main stressors seem to be separation from his humans, other dogs (we have avoided all contact with other dogs), and being in unfamiliar/out of routine places. He is always ready to snuggle and cuddle with his humans but is also just as content sleeping at their feet.
Though Kitsune has been adaptive and non aggressive to our toddler and cat, he has continued to try and maintain his distance from both - seeming to be most comfortable with school age children and older. He would be very happy in a home where he can be the center of attention, with no other animals (especially dogs) nor young children.
