My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zoey is an 8 year old spayed female who is a pocket boxer. Zoey was turned into rescue because it was discovered she immensely dislikes cats. Due to an unfortunate neighborhood accident involving a cat, Zoey's parents were forced to surrender her to save her. Zoey has lived with children under the age of 5 years up until a year or so ago. She gets along well with kids. She also likes other dogs, having lived with 3 dogs her size or larger. She is currently living with another boxer and a bulldog and does well with both of them. Zoey does need slower introductions to other dogs, but once she is comfortable with the other dogs, she gets along great with them. Zoey is a fence climber so special care will be needed when she is outdoors. Zoey may be 8 years old, but she is a young spirit. She is an energetic and athletic girl who enjoys running around the yard and playing with her plush toys. Zoey is ready to go having been already spayed, heart-worm negative and impeccably house-trained.  Zoey will do best with less dominant dogs and absolutely no cats. Anybody will be lucky to have such a sweet angel in their lives.
