My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Ruthie was born to a feral mom on 2/28/2020 at the local feed mill. She and her brother Ennis and sister Kilby were brought in to our shelter on May 1, at just barely 2 months old. Ruthie is the shyest of the 3. She is coming around, and will let you hold her and pet her. But she still has a tendency to want to hide. She has come a long way, so we are certain she will relax with patience and love. She would do best with a companion kitty to keep her company.

Ruthie is spayed, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, dewormed, & microchipped.  If you would like to meet Ruthie, and all the other cats & kittens, please go to our website and submit an online adoption application. With an approved application, we will be able to schedule an appointment for a private meet & greet at our shelter.

More about this rescue

Little Orphan's members are dedicated to the well-being of all animals we encounter. Dismayed by the numbers of cats and dogs housed in shelters and euthanized each and every year, we have an active spay/neuter assistance program and ensure as best we can that each animal adopted through our program has truly found a "forever" home.
