My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Raymond!
Raymond is believed to be about 8 years of age. He is believed to be a red retriever mix.

Raymond is sweet. He is hesitant but meets all very well, especially woman. Ramen has been homeless his whole life. Originally a stray from Kentucky. He is active and playful but needs a strong leader. Raymond loves people but new people he can be reserved initially. Raymond loves car rides, long walks, and enjoys being were his people are. He truly wishes and thrives in companionship. He does well with calm chill dogs, or if young gives him his space. Raymond once you own his heart he will love forever. He loves his toys! He LOVES his food. Sadly so much and the fear of having nothing and hungry he has guarding issues but nothing that can not be managed easily. I do not know why he has defensive fearful behaviors. He didn't deserve to suffer. He Loves So much I just do not understand how no one has adopted him yet.

Continue training is a must. Raymond was starved and because of it he displays food guarding behavior. Such behavior is common with his history. We are working hard to eliminate the behavior.

Raymond is house and crate trained, up to date on all appropriate core vaccines including lepto, rabies, dewormed, fecal tested negative, microchipped, neutered, and on monthly heartworm flea/tick prevention. FREE TRAINING FRESHERS and a life time support from us.

Out-of-state adopters are welcome at the adopter's expense. We do NOT ship and meet and greet are required before adoption unless you are a previous adopter.

We believe training is an ongoing process that needs to be worked on daily. New issues and opportunities arise daily that have to be addressed and or rewarded. Continued training is a lifetime commitment.
