Ben was returned to the shelter at 4 years old due to no fault of his own. He struggled in that new environment and our fosters came to his rescue. Although he was fostered by more than one family he thrived and remained a really affectionate guy. He is a vocal boy and responsive to being called and cuddled. He needs a home where he can relax and thrive. He is very anxious around dogs, but does well with cats and children in current foster home. This boy is very gentle with kids but may do best in a quieter home. Ben loves to be petted and get belly rubs. Ben is currently on Gabapentin and needs to remain on that long term for stress and he needs a loving, dedicated adopter who will continue him on this medication. He will also need to have his heart rechecked at six months, so he can go home as foster to adopt so that is covered. His adoption fee has been prepaid by Friends of Burlington County Animal Shelter.
