I got Taz from a family friend 5 years ago. She was probably an escaped pet b/c when we brought her home she recognized the sound of a can opening. She was about 8 months old at the time we found her. She was a spunky thing, and the first thing she did at the sight of a nieghborhood cat was tear off clumps of its fur, hence the name "Tazmanian Devil" or Taz for short. Luckily she calmed down after getting fixed, she doesn't like other pets but she won't attack them. She liked to dig at the carpet and when she separated the carpeting from the floor my dad said it was a choice between getting her declawed or throwing her out. She wouldn't live long outside so we got her front paws declawed. Because of this she is strictly kept indoors unless she is walked outside with a harness and leash.
She needs a new home because I can't afford her vet bills and my allergies have become severe. I found work, but I don't want to leave her alone all day in my room. She needs a family now. A good one.
