Meet Prince Santos!
3 year old American bully. Basically a low rider big headed mutt. Sadly some fool cropped his ears and tail to make his appearance more admired stronger and desired. Stupid fools, if only they knew all Santo needs to do to trap peoples heart is his beautiful loving personality and loving heart, Santo is so sweet and truly loves all people. He does not trust pushy dogs nor appreciates dogs in his face but tolerates them. He is good with most friendly mannered playful dogs. Seem females are best but he can do males fine. Santo is learning how to be a dog but that does not come easy to him,
Santo is so ready for his happy forever. He is semi active lazy doggo. He loves to smooch, cuddles, heavy snuggles and spooning. He enjoys being pampered, baths, lotion, face washing, nails trimming, back rubbing, and very food and praise needy but still bull headed, OH very bull headed and extremely ridiculous dramatic. Santo talks back too! actually he talks all the time. he is very vocal and speaks gargoyle, he has always lost to demand and when he doesn't get his way he throws a tantrum, especially if you leave and he is not please. its not behavior as much as its temperamental because he is is entitled dramatic princess. He loves woman more and tends to be pulled toward them more but i believe he can be just as demanding and sweet with anyone who caters to him. Santo needs a firm voice, and someone who wont be intimidated by his big head gargoyle speaking Kardashian wanna be butt head. Santo is not smart much but lucky him he leads with his heart. Santo is a lover boy and a drama queen at time and expects royalty treatment at all times. he lets it be known he is The Princess.
With his layback, baby like, lazy chill snuggly personality he is pretty easy if you don't mind a high maintenance dog, that is. Santo is great with all animals and small critters, he likes walks but keep them short, he prefers pup rides in your car and needs the ac blasting in the summer and heat in the winter. He too sensitive for all that. I'd say he do fine with kids 12 years and older if the kids mind there own and will be affectionate toward him and not rambunctious. Santos can be very bull headed but we are working on his stubbornness, more so learned to pick and chose our battles wisely. Loves toys of all kind especially chews. We have noticed he runs hot and over heats easily like most meat ball heads
Santo also loves to be sung to also and does not mind wearing gear: Vest, hat, hoodie, sweaters. Bandanna. He likes to be held like a child and will ask to be regularly. His favorite song amongst many is baby shark.
is house and crate trained, up to date on all appropriate core vaccines including lepto, rabies, dewormed, fecal tested negative, microchipped, neutered, and on monthly heartworm flea/tick prevention. FREE TRAINING FRESHERS and a life time support from us.
Out-of-state adopters are welcome at the adopter's expense. We do NOT ship and meet and greet are required before adoption unless you are a previous adopter.
We believe training is an ongoing process that needs to be worked on daily. New issues and opportunities arise daily that have to be addressed and or rewarded. Continued training is a lifetime commitment.
