Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Any beach bums out there looking for a sidekick? Napoleon, a sweet and easy-going senior boy, wants nothing but to spend his golden years in the sun next to his forever companion.
Napoleon originally came to the shelter as a stray in 2015 and was adopted immediately after his News 12 appearance. Sadly, his owner passed away early this year and he was returned to our care.
We treated Napoleon to a day at the beach because, well, he deserves it. He asked us to snap some photos to see if it will help him find his new family! Napoleon would make a wonderful companion for someone that enjoys relaxing as much as he does, with of course a short walk thrown in on nice days. He is friendly with all people he meets but he wants to be the only pet in the home.
**Reminder** We are facilitating adoptions by appointment ONLY. If you arrive at the shelter without an appointment we will not be able to accommodate you. Thank you for your understanding.
Please call the shelter (516-869-6311) during working hours (Mon. to Fri. 9AM-4PM; Sat. 10AM-4PM) for more information about Napoleon, the adoption process at the shelter, and to confirm availability. Please go to www.theshelterconnection.org for more information about and directions to the shelter.
