7/7/20: Hi, it's Rex! I'm still in my foster home but Foster Mom says that soon I might have a furever family of my own. I'm a big goofball and my main goal in life is to give and receive love. And get treats; I really like treats. My favorite place is on the couch next to my hoomans. I'll be going for my next heartworm treatment soon. The first wasn't too bad and now I have a super cool pattern shaved into my fur, but it sure is hard to stay calm when there is so much to do! I hope all of this is over soon. I really miss taking walls with my hoomans.
Sunggles,
Rex
6/7/20: Hi, Rex here again! I still love life at my foster home. The foster skin brothers who live here still give me lots of snuggles and treats. I met the boxer girl who lives here full time a couple of weeks ago. I really wanted to get to know her better because so far I have not met a dog I didn't like. But Foster Dad said she was not too impressed. I don't know why. I'm a fun boy!! Foster Mom says I have to go to the vet tomorrow for my first heartworm shot and that I have to spend the night there. I'm kind of nervous; I hope it doesn't hurt too bad. Foster Mom also says that I have to stay completely calm when I get home. Doesn't she know that might not be possible for me? I just love life sooo much! That's all for now. I'll let y'all know how this heartworm thing goes in a few days.
Love, Kisses, and Snuggles,
Foster Rex
5/6/20: T-Rex, here. I've settled into my new foster home; I've been here about two weeks. Most people call me Rex and my foster mom calls me "Rexie Poo Poo," or "Sir T-Rex of the Head Tilt." There are two "hooman" boys here whom I adore. Like, I really, really love them. The little one gives me lots of treats and the older one lets me sleep on him. Sometimes I jump on people, but with my foster family's help I'm working hard on restraining myself. Foster mom says that I have to try and stay calm because I have these nasty heartworms, but it's just soooo hard not to get excited when I have these people to play with!! Foster Mom says I have the biggest paws she has ever seen. (She wants to measure them, but I think it's bad manners to comment on how large someone's feet are.) Foster Mom and Dad say some family is going to be so lucky to adopt me and that I have so much love to give. They keep telling me that I'm the "goodest" boy around. That's all for now. I've got a hooman to go snuggle!
4/7/20: Hey! T-Rex here! Things are great! I’m meshing well with my foster family like I’ve always been here, with the exception of the resident cat not liking me. I don’t know why, she likes the other fur creatures here just fine. I just want to sniff her and lick her, she wants to scratch me.
I need a forever home that is going to provide lots of love and cuddles, because it’s my favorite. I do ok with small children, but I’m still learning not to jump, so older kids that could help with that might be ideal.
I like to go for walks and would love to play ball, but foster mom says I can’t do too much yet because of these pesky heart worms. Oh well, one day, hopefully I can run until my little legs can’t run anymore!
You have to meet me, you will fall in love with me. Everyone does!
4/1/20: Hi! I’m Rex, that’s short for T-Rex. I am a short, stocky boy who loves everyone I meet. I’ve only been with my foster family for one day. Can’t wait to tell you more, once I figure these crazy people out!
