My name is Snowball!

6/23/20: Hello friends! There is another female visiting here again. I want to play but she isn't interested. Even my graceful prancing doesn't draw her attention. She even had the nerve to sneak into my cage when I wasn't looking! I didn't mind to much but I had to go in to see what she was doing. We sleep in foster mom's bedroom on our comfy blankets. We snuggle next to each other. We are buddies!

6/15/20: Hello friends! Snowball here, checking in! This past week has been exciting. Out of state family visited! FM has discovered I don't like certain women at first.. Foster great grandma and foster grandma, I growled at first. I warmed up to them within a few minutes though and gave them lots of kisses and snuggles! I have no problem with guys at first though. Foster uncle visited again and I snuggle him the most. I met two new uncles this week and they are pretty awesome. We have the same energy! They also brought another dog! Her name is Miss Abbey. At first, I didn't approve. It took a couple hours and we warmed up to each other. Still barking here and there if we got to close to each others noses. The next day, we ran around the yard together. We drank some water together! I think I like other female dogs but I have to be introduced slowly. Still unsure with male dogs. FM says I am a friendly pup.

Foster sister has a fire hydrant that sprays water! I like to run through it and then roll in the grass. My long white fur gets dirty and I get a bath! I prefer taking a bath in the bath tub where there is warm water. I do fairly well. Foster dad gets in and gives me massages with lots and lots "bobbles!".

I should be starting heartworm treatment here soon. I might have to travel afar and stay with someone. Foster momma is nervous but I keep trying to reassure her everything is fine (she overworries). She just loves me so darn much.

6/7/20:  Greetings from Gastonia! Sorry it has been forever since my last update. I should be starting heartworm treatment end of this month! All this virus stuff happening has slowed down the process. The vet says I look great!

I love car rides! Most of our car rides are long because we drive to Charlotte. SCORE! I have started liking squeaky toys and some of my chew sticks. No pupperoni sticks though!!!! They upset my tummy.. But I do LOVE real chicken and rice. And mm mmm peanut butter is a favorite too!

My play date plans fell through so I haven't had the chance to make friends yet. Mom thinks I will do great with female dogs. We did have a visitor for a few days but I had to stay in my cage because she doesn't like other dogs. I really wanted to say hi!

My mom wants me to mention, I am best friends with my little human. The only problem is, I hate her loud toys. High pitch toy sounds make me anxious. Not sure if I can go to a home with these kind of toys but we will see my progress in a couple months! I also need to learn my manners while playing with the little human outside. I like to jump when we play ball. I just love to play!

5/14/20: Hi friends! Just Snowball checking in! I got neutered last week and I hate having this thing around my neck- I cant clean myself! I have gotten better with it and the plus side is.. I don't fit in my crate with it so I get to sleep in Mom's room on my comfy blanky I got from Torrey & Rosco.

I will be starting my heartworm treatment soon and I will be one more step closer to finding my forever family.

I am beginning to like toys. Last week, I discovered tennis balls are fun. This week, Mom bought me a fluff-less raccoon. I like to toss him around a little. I am a big runner! I love to run back and forth in the backyard. I am practicing not to get to excited. I like to jump when we play ball and sometimes I accidentally scratch :( I just want to play more and give loves!

I think mom is trying to plan a play date for me to meet other dogs! But.. There is a new neighbor dog I like to show off for. Her name is Gigi and she is a cutie :)

5/4/20: Snowball here, checking in .. Week 2! 
I finally found a simple toy I enjoy.. a tennis ball! I love to chase it and chew chew chew. I do like to jump on my foster family while we are in the back yard playing, but I am practicing not too. 
I love to eat! I am a big boy that loves food. And I am finally comfortable with going into my crate by myself when I want to relax.
I did go to the vet and found out I have heartworms. I started medicine for it and took a Triheart pill. I will be getting neutered this week and one step closer to finding my furever home!

4/22/20: Hello! This is Snowball checking in! I am having fun with my foster family. I enjoy laying around the house relaxing. We go on 3 long walks a day (plus a few more shorter walks in between)- I love sniffing around the new neighborhood. My previous home mentioned I am not good with other dogs. There are a lot of other dogs in our neighborhood and I want to stop and observe. FM won't let go near them right now though. When I am on a harness I do great with walking. I walk right next to my foster parents. They are trying to teach me not to stop and stare but I can be a little stubborn because I want to visit the other dogs, and chase other animals like squirrels and birds. I just want to play!

I have a human foster sister. I follow her around and try to see everything she does. She can be grumpy sometimes but when I start to give her kisses she cheers up and begins giggling. And she always tell me I am a "good boy".

I am not a big fan of toys.. Yet! My foster dad did discover I like to play fetch. And the yard here is nice and BIG!
