My story

This warm and loving guy, who was born around February of 2018, is ready to go to his forever family,  He will be a great addition to your family.   Pumpkin has tested positive for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV), so it would be best if he were an only kitty or in a household that had only other FeLV positive kitties.  This gentle guy will become your best friend and companion.  To set up an appointment call 608-296-2000 or email felinecaninefriends80@gmail.com.

For information on FeLV, please click here.

Pumpkin came to us 3-8-20 from a Chicago shelter as stray. He was super sweet from the start. He had an eye infection, which ruptured and his eye had to be removed on 4-28-20. His frost bitten ears tell his own personal story of survival in the Chicago winters.

Pumpkin LOVES People... He LOVES to be petted... He LOVES to be held! He is good with oth cats. For some reason there are a few cats in his room (who came in after him) that bully Pumpkin. He desperately needs his own home... with all the Peace and Quiet and LOVE he can get!

More about this rescue

Feline/Canine Friends (F/CF) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. F/CF rescues, rehabilitates, re-homes and provides sanctuary for many cats including special-needs cats. Many of our special needs cats have FIV or FeLV; plus we have many ferals who have been given a new home and a new life. We are an all-volunteer group dedicated to the prevention of cruelty to animals and educating people on the importance of spaying and neutering to control the pet population.
