My story

I was found in the Mansfield Road Wal-mart parking lot in June of 2020. I have grown a lot since then - up to about 50 pounds - so I got a new photo! I love showing off my fun ears and adorable smile. I used to be scared and shy, but now I enjoy playing fetch and getting attention. I would love a home all my own that wants to train me to do tricks! Pet Savers does not know if I am house-trained, since I was found abandoned and now live in the outdoor area of the shelter. I am sure it would not take me long to learn all sorts of new things! Apply for me today if you want to add my cuteness to your home.

Additional adoption info

Due to the current situation we are no longer allowing casual visits to the shelter. You will need to submit an application with the name of the dog or cat you are interested in adopting via email. Please visit our website www.petsaversshreveport.org to download an adoption application. Applications can be emailed back to us at petsavers@petsaversshreveport.org

Adoption fees for dogs range from $100-$250. All pets come fully vetted (spayed/neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested (for dogs).

The shelter is open seven days a week from 12pm to 4pm
Casual visits are no longer allowed. You will need to submit an application via email with the name of the dog or cat you are interested in adopting.

Monthly Events:
Petsmart Adoption Days have been suspended until further notice.
Adoption Day at Petsmart on 7061 Youree Dr., Shreveport
Every 3rd & 4th Saturday of the month from 11am to 3pm

Pet Savers is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, founded in 2005 and located in Northwest Louisiana. Our mission is to rescue, protect, and place abandoned or unwanted pets and provide funds for neutering, spaying, and other veterinary care.

Our precious rescues are cared for 7 days a week, 365 days a year by a special group of dedicated staff and volunteers.
