My story

Hi, I am Sadie, HWTH#20152B. I am Husky, DOB 7-12-12 and I weigh approximately 80 lbs. Bentley (HWTH#20150A) and I were relinquished to Halfway to Home when our owner became ill and could no longer care for us. I am calm, gentle and loving girl whose life was turned upside down but I am looking forward to finding a forever home. I deserve a home where I am considered part of the family and given lots of love and attention. I need a fenced yard to play and get some sunshine. I live with Bentley at the rescue and I do well with other dogs and kids, but cats aren't my thing. I may be a senior, but I have lots of life left in me and I am longing to share it with a family. If you are interested in a loving companion, and would like more information about me or would like to meet me, please call Sandy at tele# 661-824-4495 (this is a land-line phone)

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption procedure includes an application to make sure the dog and the people will be a good match, an adoption fee to cover the cost for shots, spaying or neutering, and a home check. Halfway to Home dogs are adopted out to be part of the family, and many of them are housetrained, if not, we ask that you are willing to undertake that task. Our dogs are intended to be indoor/outdoor family members. Doggie doors are a plus.

More about this rescue

Halfway To Home was formed in 2001 due to the need in the Antelope Valley to rescue the many homeless, helpless pets. We have animals from individuals who have to give up pets, and from animal shelters that have darling individuals who need to be spared euthanasia. There are puppies coming from individuals who did not spay and neuter in a timely manner. Your tax deductible donations can be mailed to P.O. Box 512 Rosamond, CA 93560 or you can visit us on our web site at www.halfwaytohome.net and make a donation through PayPal.
