Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Oliver is SPECIAL NEEDS. He is rear paralyzed. He requires daily manual bladder expression. He is a little moody. He can be a challenge. He is not for an inexperienced adopter or one who has no experience with paralysis and its financial requirements and physical requirements. So please don't ask if you don't have qualifications to care for him. He was taken to an open access facility because his family could not care for him. We will not allow for that to happen again to him.
Oliver is a moody dog. He can be super friendly or a bit nippy and introspective. He needs a skilled adopter who has the time to work with him and his needs. He gets along with other animals and will make a good companion for a person with patience.
Oliver is neutered and fully vaccinates and microchipped. He will be getting a dental soon.
We are only able to adopt in our local Chicago metro area. We are volunteers who work full time. If you are interested in Oliver please message us and we will try to get back to you within 48 hours.
