My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Xena I am 2.5 years old Jindo Mix girl, weighting at 15 kg. I once had a family in Changwon, Korea. One day, I decided to explore around the small village where I live. My right leg was caught on a snare set by one of the nearby neighbors to chase away wild boar. I was crying for hours, hoping that my family will come and rescue me. No one showed up. Luckily, I was discovered by a nice lady who decided to call the police.

I was admitted to the high kill shelter in Changwon, Korea. I am told this was once a no-kill shelter. However, due to many furry friends entering this shelter, they have no choice but to kill many of us. My name is currently on the list to be killed if I don’t find a family within a month.

I will be fully vetted and spayed once my adoption is finalized. I am looking for a loving permanent family in the states who will appreciate my presence. I am not asking much. All I need is your love and attention. Will you welcome me as your pet daughter? My temperament is excellent and I get along great with kids and other furry friends. I enjoy playing with my toys and love going for a long walk regardless of my condition.

Should you be interested in adopting me as your new family member, please fill out our adoption application on our site to be considered as potential adopters. We highly encourage you to read our FAQs page on our site.

Please note: All of our recently rescued dogs are currently fostered in Seoul, Korea by our volunteers. Our adoption process may be stricter than any other rescue organizations as these rescued dogs are traveling over 5500 miles to be with their new permanent family.

You must be at least 25 years old to be considered as an overseas adopter. For serious inquiries only. Please note, we monitor all pets after adoption. We prefer adopters that are active on any of the social media accounts. Thank you!
