Chowder is a 12.6 lb handsome and loving 6 yr old completely vetted and neutered FIV+ cat who captures the hearts of everyone he meets. He is a odd eyed (one blue eye and one green eye) Turkish Van abd Domestic Medium Hair mix and although he is pure white he is NOT deaf.

Chowder is packed with personality and will make a great companion for that special someone. He loves to rub on his person and enjoys it when they hang out on the floor with him. He is basically just a sweet lapcat with stunning eyes in a bruisers body who just wants to be loved... he is truly special.

Chowder was rescued from a high kill shelter minutes before he was due to be euthanized because of his FIV status. Since being out of the shelter he has made tremendous strides in such a short amount of time and is doing great just learning how to be a silly and affectionate cat. He really is such a loving boy however there are times when he can be a bit assertive, chatty, and stubborn so he would benefit greatly from someone who is experienced and could really nurture his sweet side.

Chowder would do best in a home where he is the only cat (both because of him being FIV + as well as his overall personality) and with a person or family that is home a lot and can provide him with the love he deserves.
