Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Need to re-home our cat: A Grand Old Dame.
Like a well upholstered old chair, Sheba is comfortable everywhere and never out of place. She has lived for 7 years in a house with 2, then 3, then 4 kids. So she knows to find a quiet corner when things get boisterous and then curl up with you to watch TV. Our family is leaving the United States and will be moving to smaller, and unfortunately non-pet-friendly, accommodation. Plus she's too much of a Grand Old Dame to put through the stress and indignities of transoceanic flight.
We adopted Sheba from Petco, Sunnyvale 7 years ago. They told us she was about ~8 years old. She has lived with other cats, but she doesn't enjoy ones with too much energy. She was declawed by her previous owners before we got her, so she is always indoors. She is an extremely lovable cat, with extraordinarily big, deep yellow eyes. She loves to be loved and petted and stroked, and is very patient and tolerant of younger children. Litter box trained.
