Cleo is so astute. Attentive and curious. And nothing is better than to watch her drink from the hose on these sunny days.
Although Cleo is looking for her forever family, it has been an absolute joy to start her life off in a positive direction. Sit and down are perfect outside the house. She's amazing with "Leave It", which has helped her safety a few different times. (I'll ignore that she steal my cookie last night. This time) "Come" is getting stronger. So is "Off". (Unfortunately, the kitchen counter has gotten familiar with her front paws. That's new.) She has bite inhibition and does not nip.
Admittedly, we have not been consistent with walking on a leash in public places. 2-3 times a week she visits the dog park. We do have a nature reserve behind our house where we take her occasionally. We use a gentle leader or a harness.
Cleo eats from a our hand when training or a puzzle ball. Tug-a-war with a thick rope is a favorite. Sadly, catching a frisbee is not a strength.
