My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet TYLER... 12 week old, 23 pound, Shepherd mix. Although, as with any rescue pup whose parents are unknown, breed is a best guess.

Tyler was picked up as a stray 1st week of June and the poor guy found himself in a Texas kill shelter when just a baby. Not on our watch!! Tyler is now safe. Vetted, bathed, microchipped, up to date on age appropriate shots. He is living the good life with a foster family in West Sayville and I must say… he is A SUPER GREAT DOG..

Crazy fun during his puppy energy spurts. Yet, very much enjoys spending time following you around and ‘helping’ you with chores. Company at your feet when you sit. Watchful companion when you sleep. Tyler bonds very closely with his people.

Tyler is agreeable to spending time in his crate. As a young puppy he is given to occasional mischief when left to himself, so he is crated when he cannot be closely watched. It is okay with him.

Tyler is doing great with house training. He has become pretty good obeying the ‘no’ and is also learning some basic commands. He seems to want to make his people happy and proud of him. FYI… he does have a fondness for footware while on your feet.

Tyler loves to interact with people and other dogs.

An application and home visit are required for placement of any of our pets. Tyler's adoption fee is $450.
