My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Smores - Chihuahua Mix - Male - 7 Months - www.twyla.org

If you'd like to know more about this dog please visit our website at www.Twyla.org

Meet Smores: This cute-as-a-button little Chihuahua mix is about 7 months old and has the cutest little underbite. Smores is a little shy when he first meets new people but once he has figured out that he can trust you, he turns into a very affectionate cuddeler. He gets along well with other dogs, is house and crate trained and rides pretty well in the car, he is still learning to walk on leash but learns quickly. He loves to play ball in his backyard and chasing the squirrels who seem to be teasing him. Once he's exhausted himself with play, he wants to pile up under a blanked for a nap. He's less vocal than your average Chihuahua while still notifying you of deliveries or visitors to the house.

Smores is looking for a moderately active home, with or without another dog in it. Smores would do best with a private backyard - meeting new people is a source of anxiety so apartment living where he would interact with multiple people and dogs each time he goes out is not a good fit for him.

***Please note: All dogs are fostered in private homes of volunteers, so to meet a dog please fill out an Adoption Application on our website (http://www.twyla.org/adopt/our-adoption-process) so we may setup a private meetup with the dog or coordinate for an Introduction at the next general Adoption Meet and Greet (as listed on our website: (http://www.twyla.org/upcoming-events), as not all dogs attend all Meet and Greets***
