Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Opie is our happy 8 year old purebred Siberian Husky. He has 2 blue eyes, and weighs 68lbs.
We rescued Opie from a shelter when he was 2 years old. He was terrified of being there, and was only allowed to be in the small kennel without anytime outside. We didn’t know anything about huskies, but we knew we couldn’t leave him there. He has been with our family ever since.
Opie has had professional dog training where he lived at the training facility for 3 weeks. He walks well on a leash, but like any husky, he can pull if he gets excited. He is fixed, up to date on all shots, and is heart worm negative. Opie normally sheds his undercoat in January and in June.
We have come to the hard decision to rehome Opie as we discovered that our baby is allergic. Opie is great with children and other dogs. He is pretty calm when settled in, and sleeps majority of the day. Because he is a husky though, we recommend that he has a fenced in backyard so he can run and play.
