My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Callie. I am a three year old Staffordshire Terrier. I am DESPERATE for a forever home! I try to be have but heartbreak is what I feel inside! In the last 8 months, I've been in 6 different places..... Discarded, shuffled and bounced around. This is due to no fault of my own. Everyone that promised to take care of me completely let me down. One person beat me, making me slow to warm up to new people. I eventually found myself in a shelter where I was going to be killed because I didn't do well in a noisy kennel. There has been so much pain and chaos! I just need a forever HOME to call my own! I need a home with patient, loving people who understand that I need time to bond and trust because of all the hurt and uncertainty I have been through! I need a home with NO OTHER ANIMALS! I need to be your one and only pet. I am spayed, and up to date on shots, as well as micro chipped. I love walks and am learning good leash manners, and LOVE SWIMMING in safe places. I have been raised around kids, but because of my behavioral status, I am not recommended for kids younger then 12. I love to play ball – I'll fetch it over and over, but still learning to give it back sometimes, and I love sleeping in bed with you, just as close as I can snuggle! I love being with my human but can be a good girl and not tear anything up while I wait for you to come home. I am also crate trained and even though will hesitate when I first come home, will go in nicely and am fairly quiet in one. PLEASE – could you give me a forever home that I desperately need? I have so much love to give and have opened up even at the rescue I am in. If you think you can give me the home I need, contact the rescue from here, they will get back to you quickly.
